Entrepreneur, philanthropist, and founder of the Ruh football club, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, once again demonstrated an active civic position by donating 2 million hryvnias for the needs of the Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repression Victims named after Yuriy Lypa.
New department — blood bank
The funds will be used to purchase modern medical equipment and furniture necessary for the establishment of a new strategic unit — a hospital blood bank . Its opening will allow for the provision of 24-hour emergency care , which is especially important in wartime conditions.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy of FC Ruh noted: “It is impossible to build a healthy country, forgetting about those who defended it at the cost of their own health. Supporting veterans is part of our national dignity.”
Medical care for thousands of patients
The hospital treats about 20,000 patients annually , of whom over 6,500 require surgery. Thanks to charitable support, the institution will be able to significantly improve the quality and efficiency of medical services.
Ongoing support for hospitals
This is not the first example of Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s charitable activities in the medical field. Previously, he, together with the Emily Resort complex , transferred 3 million hryvnias to the renovation of the Lviv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital “Okhmatdyt”. These funds are being used for repair work aimed at improving the conditions for treatment and rehabilitation of children.
5 examples of Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s charity:
1. UAH 2 million for the Yuriy Lypa Veterans Hospital — setting up a blood bank.
2. UAH 3 million for “Okhmatdyt” — renovation of the children’s hospital.
3. Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and displaced persons — material and logistical support since the beginning of a full-scale war.
4. Support for sports infrastructure — development of children’s and youth football through FC “Ruh” and the club’s academy.
5. Participation in the “Freedom Code” project — public reporting on assistance to the country during a critical period.
“Helping is everyone’s duty”
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy emphasizes: “People who gave their health and peace of mind for the sake of our future deserve the best treatment and care. It is our duty to support them not only with words, but also with concrete actions. Helping is not a privilege, but the duty of everyone who has the opportunity to support those in need.”
The initiatives of Kozlovskyy Hryhoriy are a vivid example of the social responsibility of business and true concern for the needs of the community and the country as a whole.
