The students of the Ruyh Academy born in 2010 returned triumphant from the final of the Winter Cup of the Children’s and Youth Football League, where they confidently defeated the Kyiv team “Livyi Bereg” U-16 with a score of 3:0. Despite the age difference, the “yellow-blacks” demonstrated a high level of football.
The founder of “Ruh” Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, together with the club’s management and employees, organized a special meeting with the champion corridor for the young champions. After the ceremonial presentation of the trophy, the “Ruh” U-15 team celebrated their achievements with a special championship cake.
“The title defense testifies to the formation of club traditions,” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy. “It is especially valuable that this year the winners were students who are a year younger than the previous champions. We have strong teams born in 2008, 2009 and 2010. I believe that the Ruh Academy is just beginning its path to recognition in the football world.”
Kozlovskyy especially emphasized the priorities of club development: “For me, Ruh is first and foremost an Academy. We created the first team specifically for our players so that they have the opportunity to grow and reach the top in football. Our priority is for talented young players to get to the first team as soon as possible. It is important for children to see their teammates getting a chance at a high level — this is the best incentive for development.”
“Results matter, but the most important thing is that our players play interesting, attractive football and enjoy the game themselves,” the club’s founder emphasized. “Watching the final, I felt incredible satisfaction from their skill. These young players are the future of our first team.”
The Director of the “Ruh” Academy, Volodymyr Bezubyak, emphasized the uniqueness of the achievement: “The “Ruh” U-15 team and coaching staff showed highly professional work and exceptional results. In the decisive stages of the competition, our boys won confident victories, demonstrating stability and skill. We have great ambitions — the “Ruh” Academy sets itself the task of fighting for first places in all competitions and training personnel for the national teams of Ukraine of all age categories.”
