Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, noted the special contribution of the Ruh football club and its founder Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy to supporting the children of military personnel. The club became a pioneer among sports organizations in Ukraine that joined the People of the Future project.
The initiative, launched by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, aims to support children whose parents have suffered as a result of Russian aggression. Ruh joined the project in April 2024, launching a series of social rehabilitation activities for young Ukrainians.
“Supporting the children of defenders is our duty to the future of Ukraine,” emphasized Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy upon receiving the award. He added that the club plans to expand cooperation with the Coordination Headquarters to implement new social initiatives.
The charitable activities of the Kozlovskyy team are not limited to supporting military families. Last year, the organization allocated 24 million hryvnias to various humanitarian projects. In particular, 2 million hryvnias from the New Year celebrations at Emily Resort were distributed among three medical institutions in Lviv: the Regional Hospital for War Veterans, the Center for Children’s Medicine, and the Okhmatdyt Hospital.
“While the war continues, our task is to comprehensively support the defenders of Ukraine and their families. This is an investment in the future of our state,” emphasized Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
