A charity football match was held in Lutsk between veterans of FC “Ruh” and SC “Volyn”, which was organized by the well-known Lviv philanthropist and businessman Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy. The main goal of the match was to raise funds for drones for the Shkval rapid response border commandant.
Not only football players, but also fans gathered at the “Avangard” stadium, who nostalgically recalled the times when football passions were boiling at the Lutsk stadium. During the match and in the breaks between halves, a charity auction was held, where t-shirts with players’ autographs, football boots and other sports souvenirs were raffled off.
The founder of FC “Ruh” Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy noted the importance of such measures for the support of the Armed Forces. “Everyone should join in helping our defenders,” he emphasized.
“With joint efforts, we can create not only exciting football events, but also make a real contribution to the defense of our country. Football unites us, and today this association has become an important part of our support for the military. I am grateful to everyone who participated in this charity event, and I believe that each of our contributions is of great importance,” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
Thanks to the joint efforts of football players, fans and partners of the event, it was possible to collect more than 150 thousand hryvnias, which will be used for the purchase of FPV drones for the border guards who defend the eastern borders of Ukraine.
This is not the first charity match organized by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh. Lviv philanthropy and “movers” actively support the Ukrainian army. Thanks to their initiatives, the fighters at the front receive the necessary equipment and equipment.
One of the vivid examples is the charity football tournament of the stars “We believe in the AFU”. Thanks to the collected funds, Ukrainian defenders received warm things, which are so necessary in the cold season.
Also, on the Day of defenders of Ukraine, a charity football tournament was held in honor of border guards. Thanks to this event, it was possible to collect more than 300 thousand hryvnias for the purchase of drones for the Armed Forces.
At the beginning of 2023, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC “Ruh” organized a large-scale charity tournament in three sports with the participation of stars of show business, e-sports and other famous personalities. Thanks to this event and the support of Polish partners, more than 550 thousand hryvnias were collected. These funds were used to purchase drones, generators and other necessary equipment for the 47th separate mechanized brigade “Magura”.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy repeatedly emphasized the importance of supporting the Armed Forces: “FC Ruh has helped and will help with drones, anti-lancet systems and other necessary equipment to bring the day of Victory over Russian evil closer.”
