The youngest players of FC “Ruh” (Lviv) from the U-10 and U-11 teams took part in the international tournament Number One Cup, which was held in Poland.
The youngest team “Ruh” U-10 won the tournament, defeating the Portuguese “Porto” in the final with a score of 2:1. And “Ruh” U-11 won the silver medal, losing in the final to the Portuguese “Sporting” with a score of 0:1.
The honorary president and founder of FC “Ruh” noted: “Such results are a fantastic triumph of Lviv youth at the European level. This is a significant achievement for the young football players of “Ruh”, which shows their high skill and prospects. And participation in such tournaments gives them the opportunity to gain valuable experience, compete with strong rivals from other countries and demonstrate their talents on the international stage.”
During the tournament, the “yellow and black” competed against the students of famous European academies and once again proved how powerful the “Movement” Academy works. In particular, on their way, the Ukrainian football players defeated the English “Everton”, “Barnsley” and “Middlesbrough”, a number of Polish teams and parted ways with the Portuguese “Benfica”.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy congratulated the young footballers on such fantastic results in the tournament and wished them more victories in the future.
“Guys, the club is proud of each of you! You are the future of the “Movement” and it is very nice that you are thirsty for victories from an early age and glorify the “yellow and black” in Europe. Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy noted that the “Ruh” football club will continue to do everything to progress on the way to the highest goals. A wonderful confirmation of these words is another victory of the youth at the Number One Cup.
