Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy congratulated the students of the “Ruh” football academy on the national record

Pupils of the “Ruh” Academy took part in setting a national record of Ukraine by making the most mass headbutt of a soccer ball.

“Our academy educates very talented children, and we decided to demonstrate this by setting a record. We turned to the representatives of the National Register of Records of Ukraine and together we chose a category to confirm our capabilities,” explained Yuliya Klymentovych, FC Ruh’s marketing manager.

On one of the fields of the club Academy, 126 children simultaneously juggled a ball on their heads. To set the record, the “movers” had three attempts, the number of children who did not drop the ball on the ground was counted.

“Choosing the nomination took time, because we wanted to attract as many participants as possible. The main idea was to set a massive record by involving young football players. We chose ball juggling because it was a new and interesting task that had not yet been solved. This required complex technique and concentration from the participants,” added Lana Vetrova, head of the National Record Register of Ukraine.

The best result, which entered the book of records of Ukraine, was achieved by 113 pupils of the “yellow-black” Academy (out of 126 children), who simultaneously headed the ball within the allotted time.

“All the children reacted very positively to such an idea and gladly agreed to implement it. In particular, such events bring the boys together and are an interesting experience for them. I sincerely congratulate everyone on the new record! This is the merit of the entire “yellow and black” team, both young athletes and their coaches. It is at such moments that you understand that we are moving in the right direction! That our players are capable of new records, and most importantly, show a strong and high-quality game. We also have another achievement — “Ruh” became the youngest team in the world from over 60 professional leagues. I am very glad that the “Ruh” football academy is educating future stars who will be the pride of this country!” — summarized Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.

“I want to express my gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their work, which allows children to play football and participate in such events. Our coaches and players are confident that our students will cope with this task and set a new record. These events really unite the boys and are an interesting experience for them,” noted the senior coach of “Ruh” U-14 Nazar Savytskyi.
